A new Sony handset is launched in Taiwan. Dubbed as Xperia Z2a the handset is an international variant of Xperia ZL2. There is no information on pricing of the device but it is said that it will be available in the Taiwan markets in July. This seems to be launched exclusively for Taiwan as the company did not reveal if it has plans to launch the device in other markets also.

It is powered by 2.3 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor along with Adreno 330 GPU. It is complemented by 3 GB RAM. Another highlight of the handset is 20.7 megapixel CMOS .3 inch Exmore RS Sensor. It can record videos with 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. It also features 3.1 megapixel front facing camera. This is dust and water proof device. It has 3000 mAh battery under the hood. Connectivity features of the handset include Bluetooth, WiFi, EDGE and 3G. It will be offered in white, black and turquoise colors.
