The senior heroine with strong presence in Tollywood and Kollywood Trisha is ready for marriage as per her own tweet.
Chennai: Chennai beauty Trisha has been in the movie world since 1999. She started facing the camera with her debut movie Jodi. Trisha has been able to prove herself successful with many Tamil and Telugu movies. Some of her movies also got dubbed from Telugu to Tamil and vice versa. She has solid fans base in both the languages.
Born on 4th May 1983, Trisha is already 31 years old and despite her perfect physic, her glamour is not able to attract as much audience as she used to, in her earlier movies. Her advanced age can be one of the causes for her reduced success in recent past.
Trisha acted in as many as 50 movies (including her upcoming movies) and her upcoming movies include 3 Tamil & 1 Telugu movies. She last appeared in Dammu (2012) in Telugu against Jr.NTR wherein she shared the screen with Kartika as another female lead in the movie. The movie could not meet the expectations of the audience.
Trisha depended mostly on glamour during her movie career. However, she acted in movies where there is a scope for action. Her movies like Pournami, King prove that Trisha can deliver success based on her performance.
Despite her successful movie career in Telugu, presently she has just 1 movie. The movie ‘NBK Lion’ with Nandamuri Balakrishna as the hero is fast nearing completion and is scheduled to hit the screens later this year.
Her 3 Tamil movies include Yennai Arindhal (with Ajith is coming as ‘Yevadaithe Nakenti’ in Telugu via dubbing route), Bhooloham & Appa Takkaru are having Jayam Ravi as the hero.
In view of her not having any new projects, Trisha has been the source for reports and rumors that she is getting married. There were reports in some media that her engagement is also over with her long term friend Varun.
Dismissing all reports, Trisha is now open that her engagement with the same Varun is scheduled in public function on 23rd January and close friends and relatives will attend the function. Already there are reports that this Chennai beauty is getting a gift of car worth Rs.7 crores on the occasion of her engagement with her industrialist friend.
Though Trisha is confirming her continuance as heroine even after marriage, we have to wait and see the opportunities that might come her way after her marriage.
