Tough time for Renault Duster, Ford Eco Sport, Fiat Avventura and Maruti Ertiga - Hyundai to launch ix25 in June??

Hyundai may introduce a spectacular model that has won hearts many across the globe and it is also one of the models which Indian automotive enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for very soon. As per information from sources, the manufacturer is likely to launch the new ix25 SUV by end of next month most probably.

Indian edition of the model may not come up with many alterations mostly and we may get the same edition of the vehicle that is being sold across the world. There is no doubt in saying that the upcoming compact SUV is going to be a threat for some of the most reputed models of the segment such as Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano, Ford Eco Sport and Fiat Avventura etc. The upcoming SUV measures around 4270 mm of length, 1780p mm of width along with 1622 mm of height respectively. The vehicle has a larger wheel base of around 2590 mm and the SUV will cost a bit heavy for an average Indian buyer as it falls under larger vehicle category by having length more than 4 meters.

Hyundai may offer ix25 in both petrol and diesel versions in India and both manual transmission and automatic transmission gear boxes will be offered. Petrol version of the SUV will get powered with a 1.6 litre engine that delivers around 123 PS power output at the peak and it may get accompanied with a six speed manual transmission gear box as standard. Lower end diesel variants of the model may get powered with a 1.4 litre CRDi engine that churns out around 90 PS at the peak and it will get mated to a six speed manual transmission gear box mostly. Higher end diesel variant of the model may get powered with a 1.6 litre engine producing around 128 PS power at the peak along with 260 Nm of torque. Engine may get mated with a six speed automatic transmission gear box mostly.
