New Executive Director of NTPC South is V B Fadnavis

1.3.2016: V B Fadnavis is appointed as the regional executive director of National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, South. Prior to this he was the executive director of NTPC Sipat Fadnavis studied mechanical engineering from Indore and MTech from IIT Delhi. He began his career in NTPC in 1979. He was jointed as an engineering executive.

BEML New Defence Business Director is RH Muralidhara

1.3.2016: RH Muralidhara took charge as the director – Defense Business of BEML limited. He is a mechanical engineering from Malnad College in Hassan. He began his career in BEML in the year 1983 and worked in production, quality engineering and planning. Prior to this appointment, he was serving as the chief general manager.

Vistara appoints Sanjiv Kapoor as Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer

1.3.2016: Sanjiv Kapoor is appointed as the chief strategy and commercial officer of Vistara. He took over the charge and will look after commercial and planning functions, network planning, sales and distributions and so on. He succeeds Giam Ming Toh. Sanjiv Kapoor also served SpiceJet as Executive.

Multi Commodity Exchange Appointed Mrugank Paranjape as MD

1.3.2016: Mrugank Paranjape is appointed as the managing director and CEO of Multi-Commodity Exchange. He will be in this position for three years. He is heading the DB Centre for Deutsche Bank.

HCS Bisht took Over as Commanding-in-chief of Eastern Naval Command

1.3.2016: Vice Admiral HCS Bisht is appointed as the commanding-in-chief of Eastern Naval Command. He was appointed in place of Vice Admiral Satish Soni who is going to retire. Vice Admiral HCS Bisht was serving as Director General of Indian Coast Guard prior to this appointment. He also served in different positions in INS Tabar, INS Kora and so on.

Rahul Sachdev Wins 1^st All India Open Invitational Snooker Championship 2016

1.3.2016: Billiards and Snooker Association of Aurangabad organized the 1^st All India Open Invitational Snooker Championship 2016. The title is won by Rahul Sachdev. He defeated Pushpender Singh to win the title.
