Prithviraj Chavan inaugurated India’s First Monorail Service
01.02.2014: In Mumbai Maharashtra Chief Minister, Prithviraj Chavan inaugurated India’s First Monorail Service. This is the first phase of monorail is comprised of 8.9kms long Chembur Section. Estimated cost of this first phase is Rs.1900 crores. This monorail is fully air conditioned. Minimum fare is Rs.5 and Maximum fare is Rs.20. At an interval of 15 minutes, it will operate between 7 AM to 3 PM initially.
NTPC issued notice to BYPL and BRPL threatening to regulate Power Supply
01.02.2014: NTPC issued notice to BYPL (BSES Yamuna Power Ltd) and BRPL ( BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd) threatening to regulate Power Supply from 11th February 2014. This notice will affect 32lakh customers who were living in Western, Central, Eastern, and Southern Parts of Delhi.
