Maruti Suzuki’s Swift Volt Edition on sale for Rs. 8.14 lakhs only – Customized Swift would beat Hyundai Grand i10?

Maruti Suzuki has introduced some spectacular customized variants of their well reputed models at the Auto Expo 2014 held recently at Greater Noida. Out of all, the customized Swift hatch has been received well by the visitors. The brand new ‘Swift Volt Edition’ is now available for sale at authorized dealership show rooms of Maruti Suzuki in India. The new Volt is a customized Swift VDi basically and the customization kit costs about Rs. 2.15 lakhs only.

The manufacturer has not made any changes to the engine and other specs of the model with the customization kit. All the changes are purely cosmetic and the combination of various colours on the external body gives the vehicle a completely fresh look. The front fascia of the model gets a new set of projector head lamps along with a set of day time running LED lights. A set of LED lights have been added beside each fog lamp on the front fascia and LED tail lamps have been offered on the rear end.

The front grille of the new Swift Volt Edition has been painted in pure black and red coloured borders have been offered surrounding the grille whereas the roof top of the model has been painted in red. Maruti Suzuki has also offered chrome finishing on the gear lever, centre console and on door handles. As per the information, the new Swift with customization kit will be delivered within one week from the date of booking and there will be no change in the manufacturer’s warranty offered by Maruti Suzuki by availing the special kit.

Maruti Suzuki is currently offering the brand new Swift VDi for Rs. 5.99 lakhs in the Indian market and by the addition of the customization kit, the overall cost of the Swift Volt Edition would be around Rs. 8.14 lakhs only.
