Audi teases RS 7 Dynamic Edition – 0-100 kmph in 3.7 sec, 27 mpg mileage and much more for $146045

The German luxury car making Giant Audi has surprised everybody by unveiling the first look of the upcoming RS7 Dynamic edition prior to its official debut at the ongoing New York Auto Show 2014. Audi is likely to exhibit its potential in customizing a model to deliver a fresh look and thus most of the changes seen on the Dynamic Edition are purely cosmetic. The model would be available for sale in American market by the end of the year and there is no hope for the model to get launched in India.

Commenting about the RS7 Dynamic Edition, Filip Brabec who is the Director of Product Planning for Audi in America has stated “The Audi Exclusive RS 7 Dynamic Edition exemplifies just some of the personalization options that are possible through our Audi exclusive program. The combination of our most powerful RS model ever and the added customized elements make this a truly special car to drive and to behold”. The manufacturer has stated describing the exclusive DRC suspension in the special edition

“The suspension utilizes three stage adjustable dampers that are hydraulically cross linked and integrated into the Audi drive select system along with the standard rear sport differential for maximum performance driving”. The new RS 7 Dynamic Edition comes powered with a 4.0 litre twin turbo charged V8 engine that is capable of generating around 560 bhp power at the peak which will allow the vehicle to attain 100 kmph speed from rest within just 3.7 seconds only. Engine comes accompanied with an 8 speed automatic transmission gear box as standard and the model delivers around 16 mpg mileage in city conditions, 27 mpg mileage on highway journeys and an average mileage of 19 mpg.

Audi is offering the special edition RS 7 in four colour options respectively Ibis White, Daytona Gray Pearl, Suzuka Gray Metallic and Phantom Black Pearl. The front fascia of the model consists of a front splitter and a diffuser both of which are made with carbon fibre materials. Audi has equipped the Special Edition RS 7 with 21 inch black coloured alloy wheels with Tornado Red Brake callipers. The interiors of the vehicle look amazing with the black Valcona leather covering. As per the information, Audi is likely to offer the brand new RS 7 Dynamic Edition in the US market for a starting price of $146045.
