Honda Mobilio RS launched in Indonesia – Priced 203.5 million Rupiah (Rs. 10.19 lakhs) with 3 years Free Maintenance
The Japanese automotive giant Honda has launched a new variant of the Mobilio Multi Purpose Vehicle in the Indonesia market today. Mobilio is one of the best selling MPVs in Indonesia already and the addition of the new variant will help Honda to grab more market share. As per the information, Honda Mobilio is the second most sold car in the Indonesian market currently. Honda Indonesia has sold 35550 units of the MPV since January, 2014 to till date and currently holds 22% of the market share in its segment.
With the addition of the RS variant, Honda Mobilio is now available in a total of five variants now – S MT, E MT, E CVT, E CVT Prestige and RS respectively. The new variant of the model is pretty aggressive than all the other variants and it has been positioned above the current top end variant of Mobilio. The front fascia of the model gets a revised bumper and a new front grille that comes with two slates. A new set of projector LED head lights are offered along with a set of fog lamps surrounded by chrome finishing. Honda is offering the new Mobilio RS in seven colours – Crystal Black Pearl, Bronze Metallic Ionized, Brilliant Gold Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Carnelian Red Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic respectively.
15 inch full alloy wheels are an addition to the brand new roof mounted spoiler. Mobilio RS also comes with a new aerodynamic kit which not only improves aerodynamics of the vehicle but also enhances the look. Honda is offering premium leather interior with the Mobilio RS and leather covering is offered for seats, steering and also for the centre console. Infotainment module comes with a 6.1 inch touch screen display on the centre console that comes integrated with a rear parking camera. An upgraded music system is an addition to the technically rich portfolio of the Mobilio RS which also features steering mounted controls and high capacity speakers with surround.
Power comes from a 1.5 litre iVTEC engine that is capable of generating around 98.6 bhp power at the peak along with 200 Nm of torque. Honda has priced the brand new Mobilio RS at 203.5 million Rupiah in the Indonesian market which is around Rs. 10.19 lakhs in the Indian currency. Honda Indonesia is offering the new trim with free maintenance for 3 years or 50k km journey. Extended Warranty for the next 5 years or 1.4 lakhs km can be availed by paying 4.9 million Rupiah additionally.
