Hyderabad Bomb Blasts: CCTV captured Suspects?
Hyderabad: The teams that are investigating the twin bomb blast cases at Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad could make some progress in the case. They have identified two persons who brought the cycles with bombs to the blast site with the help of CCTV footage. These are identified as persons belonging to Bihar and a special team of NIA is sent to Bihar immediately. Investigating authorities have come to a conclusion that the main hand behind the blasts is that of Yasin Batkala and Mohammad Maqbul is the main person in carrying out the blasts.
Investigating teams also came to a conclusion that five to eight people participated in the operation and these belong to Karnataka state. State home minster Sabita Indra Reddy announced that 15 special teams with 300 officers belonging to NIA and NSG will search for the people who participated in the operation. Investigating authorities also identified two young men who came to Rajeev chowk, Dilsukhnagar fifteen minutes before the bomb blast. These two men were stopped by traffic constable at Rajeev Chowk as they were going in wrong route. It was recorded in the CCTV camera. The video footage also showed leather bags at the back of the cycle. Both of them went towards Konark Theatre along with their bicycles.
City Police commissioner said that the procedure of collecting evidence related to the twin bomb blast case in Hyderabad is completed. Speaking to the media he said few suspects are identified and they are trying to identify the remaining people involved in the case. He announced Rs. 10 lakh reward to those who give information about he culprits.
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy spoke to media on 23rd February, 2013. She informed that 3500 cc cameras will be set up in Hyderabad by spending Rs. 450 crores. Chief Minister has given approval for this proposal. CC cameras will be made compulsory in all the shopping malls, cinema theatres, huge shopping complexes and hospitals. She said investigation is going on to find the reason for CC cameras not working at the place of bomb blasts in Dilsukhnagar.
Home Minister said those responsible for this will be punished severely. She also informed that acts will be amended to set up CC cameras in new constructions. She requested people to inform to the authorities if any information is available about the people who are involved in the bomb blast case. She said the details of those who give information will be kept guarded and they will also be given Rs. 10 lakh reward.
