Samsung Home Sync Device Announced: Specifications of Samsung Home Sync
Barcelona: Samsung has just now announced HomeSync device. This device gains the credit of being the first home hub gadget from Samsung under Galaxy devices. This device serves as media streamer which can stream wide range of contents. Different kinds of contents include Android games, media content from Galaxy devices without need for wire connection to TV. It can also provide access to Play Store. This device can be used for taking the content from Galaxy devices wirelessly and stream it to television at 1080p quality with full HD resolution.
Samsung Home Sync device comes with 1 Terabyte space and will allow creation of up to eight account for family. This device allows the users to share the content with different devices instantaneously through Hub. It comes with file encryption feature apart from having user specific username and password. This will ensure high levels of privacy for storing private data. But still, there are few common shared areas on HomeSync for all users. Users can interact with the media type of content without wired connection, but by using their mobile.
Samsung Home Sync device is powered by 1.7 Ghz dual core processor and it runs on Jelly Bean i.e. Android’s version of operating system. This device is mainly intended for Galaxy devices. It has been provided with 1 GB RAM of the type DDR3. It has got 8 GB eMMC and is provided with 1 Terabyte HD. Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity options can be utilized on this device which has got Bluetooth of the version v4.0.This device comes with support for HT40 2×2 MIMO Channel Bonding feature. Gigabit Ethernet LAN feature is also enabled on this device. It extends support for HDMI, Micro USB and external USB 2.0 x 2. Wide ranges of audio and video formats are supported on this device. DRM of the type HDCP, PlayReady, TrustZone, Widevide, etc are supported. This device will be made available in selected markets from 2013 April. Pricing of this device has not been revealed still.
